Kamui USA is proud and excited to offer our cuemakers and cue repair technicians friends  Hydex202 rods. We offer them in .562 diameter. Just the right size for ferrule and shaft insert use. Hydex202 is the choice of many makers who prefer lightweight, non-porous, and indestructible material.

Hydex202 is already the standard ferrule for several custom cuemakers and large production companies. It's also the popular choice for carbon fiber T-shaped ferrule and cap. Hydex202 is easy to machine and thread. You can make them in 5/16 18 or 3/8 16 threaded configuration, or a through-hole or capped press-fit ferrule.  As a threaded ferrule, waterproof glue such as Titebond 3 or Gorilla polyurethane glue can be used to hold them. As a press-fit ferrule, use a good epoxy. We suggest slow-setting epoxy. Glue rings and notches on the tenon and ferrule are suggested.
